Abomey-Calavi, August 12, 2013: CROP researchers Ekoutiame A. Ahlin and Alda Kabre are attending the fourth edition of Afrobaromter French countries summer school in Abomey-Calavi, Benin. The event is hosted at the Institute for Empirical Research in Political Economy (IREEP), a leading training and research institution in Africa. During this summer school, Ekoutiame will be working on his paper titled “Spatial analyses of Trust in institutions in Togo” and Alda will be working on the determinants of Tax Compliance using public opinion polls data.
Following the summer school, both Alda and Ekoutiame will head back to Lome, Togo to hold a daylong seminar, on August 17th at CROP’s headquarters, to share their experiences with their colleagues in Togo.
Ekoutiame A. Ahlin is a resident researcher at CROP. He is responsible for the development of the training department at CROP. Alda is a PhD candidate in economics at the Ecole Polytechnique in France; she is a research affiliate at CROP.
