 Dr. Moussa P. Blimpo is director of the CROP. He is also Assistant professor of Economics and International Studies at the University of Oklahoma and a research affiliate at the Institute for Empirical Research in Political Economy (IERPE) that is based in Cotonou, Benin. He holds a Bachelor degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Pau in France, a M.A. in Political Science and a Ph.D. in Economics both from New York University.  Moussa’s research focuses on development economics.

Hervé has a wide experience in the field of Social Science Research in Africa . He has conducted studies in Benin , Guinea, Gambia and Togo for various national and international institutions such as the World Bank . His is focus generally on issues related to the evaluation of the effectiveness of public policies. He worked, among other things, on crimes in Benin and issues of youth employment in the Gambia. Hervé also has a particular interest in the opinion polls , which is one of the area of expertise of CROP. He is one of the co -founders of CROP where he holds the role of Research Manager.

Ezechiel A. Djallo is the resident administrator of CROP . He is also a professor at the Catholic University of West Africa -“Unite Universitaire” of Togo ( UCAO – UUT) and at the University of Lomé . The expertise of Ezechiel is often sought after internationally, including from the World Bank. Ezechiel holds a Master in Public Economics and Applied Statistics from the Institute for Empirical Research in Political Economy and a Master in Mathematics ( option Probability and Statistics ) from the University of Lomé. He is interested, among other things, in education, including those related to student performance .

 Ekoutiamé A.  Ahlin is co-coordinator of the Academics Affairs at CROP.  Ekoutiamé holds MA in Public Economics and Applied Statistics at the Institute for Empirical Research in Political Economy in Benin and a Msc in Mathematics at University of Lomé in Togo. He has served as international consultant with the World Bank and actively participated in many studies in Benin, Togo, and The Gambia.  Ekoutiamé taught Statistics at the University of Lome in Togo. His field of interest is development economics and the theory of uncertainty.

  Expertise: Economic growth, Development economics, Public economics, and the roe of NGOs

Marie Christine APEDO-AMAH is a PhD student at Aix-Marseille School of Economics in France. She is currently writing a thesis on the impact of NGOs on the economic growth of developing countries. She has completed a Master Degree in Macroeconomics and Growth and is specialized in economic modeling and analysis of interactions between development institutions and governments.

  Nom: Atabanam Simbou
  Position: Training co-coordinator

Atabanam Simbou, after his Master degree in Mathematics from University of Lome, he went on to study Public Economics and Applied Statistics at the Institute of Empirical Research in Political Economy (IERPE). His research focuses on human development issues.  His most recent work explores the issue of gender gap in sciences. Atabanam is currently coordinating three research projects in Haiti in the area of education. Prior to that, Atabanam has taught Applied Mathematics at West Africa Catholic University’s Togo branch.

  Position: in charge of accounting
Komi is the accountant assistant at CROP. He Holds a professional degree in Science and Technical Accountants and finance from ESA. He is currently completing his Masters in Accounting, Control and Audit at the UST . Komi also provides accounting services at the Hotel Corinthia 2 Fevrier Lome – Togo and LAAICO .

  Position: Administrative Assistant

 Aude M. Doumassi is an Administrative Assistant at the Center for Research and Opinion Polls (CROP). Aude has a wide range of experience in the area of administrative management and communication. Before joining CROP, Aude has worked as Marketing Officer, Assistant Project Manager, and Administrative Assistant on many high profile events. She helped design and establish communication strategies for a number of companies in Togo. Aude holds a Diploma in Professional Project editing and a Bachelor degree in Communication both from the “Institut des Sciences de l’information de la Communication et des Arts (ISICA)” of  the University of Lomé. She is also trained in English Proficiency and Literacy through Talents Restoration Academy in Ghana.

  Nom: Nangbandja M. Kombaté
  Position: in charge of the logistics

Monoble  join  CROP in July 2013 as a logistics officer and as a liaison. He will also play an important role in the coordination of human resources . He brought his skills to CROP on various projects , including the organization of the Afrobarometer survey – Round 5 in Togo. Monoble is currently continuing his training in Human Resource Management at the University of Lomé.

Hervé a une large expérience dans le domaine de la recherche en sciences sociales en Afrique. Il a mené des études au Bénin, en Guinée, en Gambie et au Togo pour diverses institutions tant nationales qu’internationales comme la Banque Mondiale. Son centre d’intérêt s’articule de façon générale autour des questions liées à l’évaluation de l’efficacité des politiques publiques. Il a travaillé entre autre sur la criminalité au Benin et les questions de d’emplois des jeunes en Gambie. Hervé a également un intérêt particulier pour les sondages d’opinion, qui est un des domaines de prédilection du CROP.  Il est l’un des co-fondateurs du CROP où il occupe le rôle Chargé de la Recherche.

Tossou holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Franche-Comte. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Lomé and is responsible for the social science courses at UCAO – UUT . He is also a research associate at the CURA – ISDC Quebec and C3S laboratory.

Ezéchiel A. Djallo l’administrateur resident du CROP. Il est également enseignant-chercheur à l’Université Catholique de l’Afrique de l’Ouest – Unité Universitaire du Togo (UCAO – UUT) et a l’Universitaire de Lomé. L’expertise de Ezechiel estsouvant sollicite a l’international, notamment auprès de la Banque Mondiale. Ezéchiel est titulaire d’un Master en Economie Publique et Statistique Appliquée de l’Institut de Recherche Empirique en Economie Politique et d’un Maitrise en mathématique (option probabilité et statistiques) de l’Université de Lomé. Il s’intéresse entre autre aux questions d’éducation, notamment celles relative à la performance des élèves.

Dr. Moussa Djibibe Zakari is a resident affiliate of CROP.  He is also an assistant professor in the Universities in Togo. Zakari is specialized in the field of modeling diffusion phenomena . He is interested in applying mathematical methods to socio -economic issues such as the spread of AIDS and STDs. Zakari holds a PhD in mathematics and application.

Kodzo holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Paris Est – Paris XII, He is a professor at Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu college in Canada. The main teaching units of Kodzo are macroeconomics, microeconomics, game theory and applied statistics .

Alda Holds a Master in Public Economics and Applied Statistics from IERPE and a Master in energy economics, environmental economics and sustainable development from the Polytechnic School of Paris. Alda is currently pursuing his PhD in Economics in the latter school.

Oswald Koussihouèdé is a non-resident affiliate of CROP. He is also an international consultant . Oswald contributed, among other things, his expertise to the World Bank to coordinate an Impact Assessment of Schools Projects in Senegal . He is currently the Technical Advisor to the Education Systems Analysis Program of the Conference of the ministers of education of Countries that has french as a common language (CONFEMEN ). He is responsible for the evaluation of educational systems in Côte d’ Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo , Vietnam and Niger. Oswald holds a Master in Public Economics and Applied Statistics from the Institute for Empirical Research in Political Economy, an engineering degree in Statistical Work from the National School of Applied Economics and Management ( ENEAM ) in Cotonou (Benin). He completed his PhD in Economic at the University of Saint- Louis , Senegal. His main area of interest is the analysis of public policies , especially those concerning education.
